Bluewhite64 12.0 release notes. Since the Bluewhite64 11.0 there are some changes that I'd like to mention. First, we dropped the /lib64 and /usr/lib64 directories and now we are using the standard /lib and /usr/lib directories. Before the lib64 change, compiling program required to use the --libdir=/usr/lib64 which is caused troubles for some programs. With Bluewhite64 12.0 is not required to use that configure option anymore. You will notice that we kept a symlink lib64->lib and /usr/lib64->/usr/lib, this are a compatibility links which required by some programs, like imagemagic ;). I hope that anyone can now compile easily all favorite programs ;). In the second hand, I have decided to enable the IA32-emulation which makes possible to run 32-bit programs ;). Many people tested (Thanks!) and reported that the usual 32-bit programs are working great. Programs like 32-bit Firefox with Flash, 64-bit Firefox win 32-bit flash, Openoffice, Skype, Crossover Office and much more. Read the IA-32EMULATION.TXT for more details about howto run 32-bit programs. And for the rest of changes, please read the CHANGES_AND_HINTS.TXT ;) THANKS to ALL for using Bluewhite64 Linux!
